Let’s see…. Lately… Distribution deal almost done. Licensing some tracks is a possibility. New Other Machines tracks sounding like robot rock. New visuals look like particles having sex and then changing colors. Minimalist theories abound. all in all a good Friday.

I am currently busy finishing additional tracks for the live set. The visuals are slowly developing as well. Working on some distribution and licensing. Some fine tuning of the “Chi” – There is much activity in the air….

I have finished the “Ramana was Right” e.p. and have made it available for free download over at lightandmachine.com. There a now two e.p.’s, a remix and more ready to go for the 7-10-10 launch of our new label – Light and Machine.

It has been a while and I a happy to announce the first Other Machines single for 2010 – “Vertebrae”. There will be a download available next week. In the meantime you can hear it now in the Audio page. This is the first release of many scheduled. I am also working on live dates and video work which will be available both here and at www.lightandmachine.com.

Griid for the iPad – the new touch controller for Ableton Live.

This is Ritchie Hawtin working with the beta for Griid. A new app for the iPad that will bring a new level of control in Ableton Live. It is this type of app that pushes me to a purchase. I hope to see this released soon!

I am in the middle of finishing up the first releases under our new label “Light and Machine”. I have been retooling the mixes and they will be available form download in July. I am extremely excited about the new music. I am also preparing a new live show with new visuals. Stay tuned.
